Agasis (species unidentified) plays a significant role in oral traditions about the establishment of the Ayt Ḥdiddu in the region as its presence was taken to prove that the area was suitable for growing cereals. Photograph taken June 22, 2003 during ethnographic fieldwork in the central High Atlas mountains in Morocco.
