Abstract (eng)
Background: Due to today's technology, music can be played at any time at any location. The respectively early impact of music on pupils is partly used in physical education. However, the motivational and emotional effectiveness of this didactic medium is largely unexplored and underestimated. Method: With the help of the hermeneutic method, this thesis attempts to provide an overview of the facets of this subject and the current state of research. For this purpose, current literature and relevant research results are prepared, which are used for a deepening understanding in the treatment of the subject matter. The main part of the work includes an empirical investigation which shows the motivational influence of music during the execution of normalized hourly sequences in comparison with and without music accompaniment at time intervals. For the measurement, students of different age wear accelerometers to determine the time share in the respective activity levels. Results: Both in the empirical investigation and in the literature there are clear movement-promoting tendencies in the use of ergogenic music accompaniment. There are very strong significant differences in the intensity of movement with and without music. Especially during the lesson "Parteiball" there are clearly higher movement intensities in the hour sequence with music - this is also reflected in the clearly more extensive step number. The girls of the third class tend to be more influenced by music than the first classes. The motivational effect can be found in leisure sportsmen with self-selected performance, but music does not have any effect on the workout of performance athletes. Conclusion: The results show a positive effect of music in physical education. When used correctly, there are advantages in the motivational and emotional area of the students. As a didactic means, music can bring a clear structure into the classroom, which leads to a more streamlined treatise. In the future music should be increasingly integrated into the physical education lessons, since there can be seen a great potential for the quality increase.
