Diese Arbeit untersucht die Glaubenskrise der Igbo – Afrikaner Christen und Christinen in ihren historischen, existentiellen und kulturellen Richtungen. Die verschieden Ausdrücke und Manifestationen der Krise werden untersucht. Es wird in der Arbeit versucht, die Zusammenhänge zwischen die Sprache des Gebets im Buch Ijob, Gottes Mystizismus nach Johann Baptist Metz, und Igbo Ofo na Ogu Mystizismus (Iju Ogu Gebetsform) ins Licht zu bringen und wie die Aneignung dieses Gebetsmystizismus eine große spirituelle Bereicherung für die Igbo – Afrikaner Christen sein wird in ihrem Christlichen Leben und eine große Hilfe für sie in ihrer Glaubenskrise.

This work explores the faith crisis of the Igbo African Christians in its historical, existential and cultural aspects. It explores the different manifestations of the faith crisis at different periods and its present manifestation in the form of the gospel of prosperity. The work seeks to bring the similarities and inner conectedness between the language of prayer in the Book of Job, the Jesus mysticism according to Johann Baptist Metz and the Ofo na Ogu Mysticism (iju Ogu) of the Igbo African culture and how the appropriation of this kind of mysticism in its Christian expression will be of great spiritual and physical benefits to the Igbo African Christians in their Christian lives and a great help in their faith crisis
