St. Augustine, also Augustine of Hippo (354 - 430) was a Latin philosopher and one of the four Doctors of the Church of late antiquity and an important philosopher of the epochal threshold between antiquity and the Middle Ages. He is generally considered as most influential in the development of Western Christianity.
This work is concerned with the gospel of St. John.
