Abstract: De Gruyter has reached the final stages of its mammoth digitization project – the De Gruyter Book Archive. Embark with us on a journey over five years and nearly 30,000 digitized books from two and half centuries of humanities research. In this session, Saskia Wenzel and Danielo Methke will answer the three main questions: “What are key lessons learned?”, “What kept us going during the difficult phases of the project?” and finally: “Would De Gruyter do it again?”
Saskia Wenzel is Senior Manager or Publisher Partnerships at De Gruyter.
Danielo Methke is Business Process Manager at De Gruyter.
