Abstract: IOP Publishing believes conducting science more openly can accelerate scientific discovery and as such we are committed to supporting the wider adoption of open practices across the physical sciences. In this session, we will discuss the challenges and opportunities for archiving in Open Science world from a publisher’s perspective.
Stephen Flockton is a Content Architect at IOP Publishing, a society-owned scientific publisher, providing impact, recognition, and value for the scientific community. He has responsibility for all of IOP’s digital content assets across journals, books, and conference proceedings, including how they are created, processed, and distributed. Before working for IOP he has worked for a variety of academic publishers including Oxford University Press and Taylor & Francis. He is an active participant in cross-industry working groups and is a member of the NISO Information Creation & Curation topic committee.
