Camillus Johann(es) Müller aus Königsberg (1436-1476), bedeutender Mathematiker, Astronom und Verleger des Spätmittelalters. Unter Mitverwendung arabischer Quellen fasste er in De triangulis omnimodis die ebene und sphärische Trigonometrie zusammen. Darin finden sich erstmals nicht auf dem Sexagesimalsystem beruhende Sehnentafeln sowie der von R. präzisierte Kosinussatz der sphär. Trigonometrie. Camillus Johann(es) Müller from Königsberg (1436-1476) was an important mathematician, astronomer and printer of the late middle ages. Making use of arabian sources, he summarised/united spherical and plane Trigonometry in De triangulis omnimodis. In this for the first time there are chord tables not based on the sexagesimal system as well as the cosine rule which Regiomontanos redered more precisely. To his book of tables, the Tabulae directionum, 1475, he also added a tangent table.
