Doppeltürmige Westfassade (H 60 m) der dreischiffigen Pfeilerbasilika. Die Zwibelhelme sind eine Zutat des 17. Jhs. Über dem Portal ein Rundfenster und zwei Rundbogenfenster der dahinterliegenden Bischofskapelle. An den Türmen große barocke Schallfenster. Am nördlichen Turm eine Uhr, links davon das Wappen des Domstiftes mit Herzogshut, rechts das Wappen des Dompropstes Ferdinand von Litzlhofen mit einer Mitra (1789-1818)
