Title
Emmanuel Trizac: How Can One Short-cut Adiabaticity?
Language

Description (de)
Mitschnitt einer Veranstaltung der Österreichischen Chemisch-Physikalischen Gesellschaft am Dienstag, dem 14. Oktober 2014 im Lise-Meitner-Hörsaal der Fakultät für Physik der Universität Wien Emmanuel Trizac ist Professor am Laboratoire de Physique Théorique et Modèles Statistiques der Université Paris-Sud. Abstract: A novel class of exact solutions to the Boltzmann equation is uncovered, for both the classical and quantum formulations. These solutions, valid for arbitrary collision laws, hold for time-dependent confinement. In this talk it is shown how to exploit them, in a reverse-engineering perspective, to work out a protocol that shortcuts any adiabatic transformation between two equilibrium states in an arbitrarily short time span, for an interacting system. Particle simulations fully corroborate the analytical predictions. INHALT ====== Kapitel Titel Position --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Vorspann 00:00:00 2.
