The matter of a Bible translation, especially with regard to women, has increasingly been discussed in German-speaking countries during the last decade. The following article points out general considerations of the conditions and possibilities of such a project. Two Bible hanslations, which explicitly claim to use just language (conceming women), the ,,Gute Nachricht Bibel" and the lectionary ,,Der Gottesdienst - Liturgische Texte in gerechter Sprache", present different conceptions and various examples to be discussed.
