Abstract: This course will focus on a special type of deformation of two-dimensional quantum (not necessarily conformal) field theories driven by the determinant of the stress-energy tensor: the so-called T-Tbar deformation. We will study in detail the case where the deformed theory is a CFT, computing the effects of the T-Tbar-flow on various physical quantities and discussing some applications.
Andrea Cavaglià ist Postdoktorand im Fachbereich Theoretische Physik am King's College in London.
