Jacobus de Voragine (c. 1230 -1298) was the Archbishop and Latin church writer. Jacobus entered the Dominican Order in 1244 and was a professor of theology in 1266. He was a brilliant speaker, worked as an itinerant preacher and taught in religious schools. ISTC ij00202000 C 6525 GW M11684
