Abstract (eng)
Based on the diagnosis, according to which theological thinking lacks a lack, this thesis is an attempt to approach a specific gesture of thinking lack as such. Jacques Lacans Ethics of Psychoanalysis may be regarded as initial point and background of this task, leading to a discussion of Slavoj Zizek's philosophical opus, especially his reception of Lacan's ethics, and a description of Alain Badiou's concept of the „event“. In the course of this exploration Zizek's Lacan-based Ethics of the Real and his theory of an ethical or radical act are criticised and modified by means of Badiou's theory of the event. Finally Badiou's „truthprocedures“, a procedure being faithful to an event, is emphasised as appropriate way to rethink Zizek's concepts of the act. This approach is in a position to remain faithful to lack as such, without being trapped in melancholic mourning due to the loss of an objekt that never was possessed. This procedure is regarded as appropriate approach to a required gesture of thinking lack, as imposed by the diagnosis of a lack of lack in theological discourse. Moreover, it is a resistive praxis that detracts itself from any closure of lack as such.
