Abstract (eng)
In this diploma thesis several antecedents of development activities, are questioned. This is based on the assumption, that during the world wide economic crisis, a chance is seen in development activities and trainings. In order to connectivity to the crisis, job insecurity is included as moderator variable.
Factors, which are assumed to influence voluntary participation in training developments, are training motivation, perceived benefits, humancapital, expectations through others and self-efficacy. Additionally, these factors were adjusted to Ajzen´s (1985) theory of planned behaviour. Hence intention has to be included as a mediator.
The data assessement was achieved via online questionnaires. The sample consistet of 303 participants, which were acquired in the social network “Xing”. For data analysis, binary logistic and hierarchichal regressions as well as moderator- and mediatoranalysis were run. Against all expectations in this sample, job- insecurity couldn´t be identified as a moderator. At least it didn´t have a significant effect on the dependent variable. The most influence is shown by training motivation, perceived benefits and expectation through others, as long as not controlled by intention or humancapital. Surprisingly humancapital was identified as a partial mediator.
