Abstract (eng)
The origin of the "Wiener Warenkundesammlung" goes back to the Vienna World Exhibition 1873rd. Some items in this collection could therefore be seen as early as 1873 in Vienna, so probably two of the three "Japanischen Xylotheken". One objective of this thesis is to describe the "Japanischen Xylotheken" and the included taxa. In publications and the enclosed texts of the Xylotheks, was researched for possible information on the origin and development of Xylotheks.
Based on the "Japanischen Xylotheken" of the "Wiener Warenkundesammlung", an exhibition of the topic "Heimische und exotische Hölzer" was designed and presented with pupils. The Social skills of the pupils like teamwork and helpfulness should be enhanced.
Through a survey of interest, should be determined, if by different lessons, the interests of the pupils on the topics of the exhibition could be increased. The interests of the pupils on selected topics were determind before and after the exhibition.
