Abstract (eng)
The aim of the thesis is the construct validation of the Wiener Studieneignungs-Persönlichkeitsinventar (Khorramdel & Maurer, 2012; Viennese Study-Qualification Personality Inventory) with construct-related personality questionnaires. The inventory is used to measure study-related behaviour and attitudes including the scales organizational capability, working style and working habits, motivation, frustration tolerance, social skills, emotional skills and self-confidence. The following personality questionnaires were used to construct validate the inventory: BIP (Hossiep, Paschen & Mühlhaus, 2003), LMI (Schuler, Prochaska & Fintrup, 2001), NEO FFI (Borkenau & Ostendorf, 2008) and AVEM (Schaarschmidt & Fischer, 2008). The sample consists of 302 individuals aged 17-49 years (M=23,81; SD=4,12). The hypotheses regarding the relationship structures of the latent constructs were tested with correlations. Furthermore, an exploratory factor analysis was performed. The hypothesis-compliant results show the construct validity of the questionnaire.
