Abstract (eng)
The main topic of this thesis are Internet Social Networking Sites, whose primary purpose of these is building and maintaining social relations. Business Networking Sites, such as Xing, are not well-known media for Austrian companies and more specifically to management consultants and are not frequently used.
In this thesis the advantages and challenges for companies when using Social Networking Sites will be compared.
The Information about the benefit of these sites by Austrian management consultant firms was collected empirically.
In addition to describing the benefits of using Xing for Austrian managment con-sultants, this study attemps to forecast their future development.
