Abstract (eng)
This current hermeneutic diploma thesis examines whether if it is important for understanding a new topic in the math class in secondary school to choose a specific method for its introduction and preparation. Most of the time pupils do not have any previous knowledge of learning contents, that is why the structure of the basic knowledge has to give the children the possibility to echo and work with the latter. Therefore – in respect of an educational basis – on the one hand the core of the theoretical part contains the “introduction” and the “preparation” and on the other hand the “teaching method”. In connection with the two parts earlier, the definitions, the duration, the functions and the didactical criteria will be explained. The “teaching method” will also be discussed – apart from the meaning, the characteristics and the functions – as well as the variety of methods and the different educational and social forms. The main point of the practical part contains the implementation of the theory in a maths class. Therefore there are examples, for the first four classes at secondary school, for the introduction and the preparation.
In this regard, the thesis shows the importance of the chosen teaching method for the further learning of the students, that is why it always should be well considered and accurately applied.
