Nachdem historische und politische Hintergrundinformationen zu Irish Travellers geklärt sind, sowie Begriffe wie Othering oder Stereotyp im Zusammenhang mit Film definiert sind, werden fünf Filme bezüglich Stereotypen über Travellers untersucht.

After outlining historical and political background information about Irish Travellers, terms like Othering and Stereotype are defined in relation to film. Irish and Irish Traveller stereotypes are compared and traced in five films released between the years 2000 and 2014.
