Abstract (eng)
This master´s thesis explores the Sunni Muslim majority´s attitudes towards the Christian minority and Christianity, and also makes reference to the way in which other religions are perceived. It is based on data collected using qualitative research, which the author conducted in Irbid, a town situated in the north of Jordan. The field research consisted of interviews with female Muslim students and the participant observation during a lecture relevant to the topic in question at Yarmouk University in Irbid.
