This thesis is dealing with dispersal ecology of plants, to teach this topic in school. The Educational Reconstruction concept is used and separates the present work into three parts. The first part, the technical clarification, tries to clarify the theoretical background of dispersal ecology. The second part contains interviews with pupils which were analyzed through the qualitative content analysis afterwards. The analysis is supposed to reveal concepts and problems in pupils views on the topic. The third part, didactic structuring, combines the technical clarification and the ideas of pupils. In addition, models of diaspore dispersal have been developed and built for the use in a teaching concept.
