Abstract (eng)
Topic of this paper will be a special eye on the use of variables in school mathematics as well as the consideration of possible consequences to be drawn if language and thus also the handling of mathematical concepts are considerated, in terms of Wittgenstein, as training.
The available paper is subdivided into three parts. One part deals with Wittgenstein's Philosophy of Language, whereas the other part considers and discusses the concept of variable in a pure mathematical context.
These two, as such, independent sections form the main part of the thesis with the intention to, finally, lead readers to the resulting realization, given in the third part, the bringing together: The rules of language acquisition should be valid as well for mathematic lessons and they should be expressed in an appropriately explicit manner.
