Abstract (eng)
The diploma thesis evaluates ways to improve teaching about mosses at the level of lower secondary education, precisely for c. 12year old pupils (2. grade AHS). The topic was investigated and didactically prepared according to the ‘didactic reconstruction method’. Firstly, a technical clarification of the topic was given. Then, guided interviews with experts (teachers) and pupils were designed, carried out and analyzed. The pupils’ interviews primarily focused on their personal ideas on the topic. Moreover, a schoolbook analysis performed in the course of the diploma thesis provided detailed insights into the ways how the topic is treated in these important supporting media for teachers. Based on the technical clarification, the interviews and the schoolbook analysis, a teaching model was created that is presented in the last part of the thesis. This model is designed to be taught in a second grade of the AHS in Austria.
