Abstract (deu)
Tourismus, eine Leitökonomie des 21. Jahrhunderts, hat die Tourismusregion Klopeiner See- Südkärnten schon seit dem Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts geprägt. Nach einem Boom in den 1980er Jahren ist bis heute ein Abwärtstrend der Nachfrage zu erkennen. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich nun mit einer eingehenden Analyse dieser Region, wobei das Hauptaugenmerk auf den touristischen Trends, bzw. ob und wie die Tourismusregion Klopeiner See diesen Trends Folge leisten kann, liegt. Im Zentrum steht daher, aufbauend auf einer theoretischen Einführung zu den wichtigsten touristischen Termini, die Beurteilung der Region im Zuge der Angebote, der Infrastruktur sowie die Einführung in relevante touristische Leitbilder. Um regionsspezifische Potentiale zu erkennen, wird eine SWOT-Analyse durchgeführt. Das Ergebnis dieser Arbeit ist der Entwurf eines touristischen Entwicklungsleitbildes für die Region Klopeiner See- Südkärnten.

Tourism is one of the most important economies in the 21st century. The region of Klopeiner See- Südkärnten is embossed with tourism since the end of the 19th century. After a boom in the 1980s it is now confronted with a decreasing demand and no growth. This thesis will analyze this region with an attention to the trends in tourism or rather if and how trends can be fulfilled. Therefore, after a theoretical introduction to relevant terms and concepts, the evaluation of the region in the course of touristic supply and infrastructure as well as relevant concepts, stand in the center. To identify the tourist potential in the region, this study also includes a SWOT- analysis. The result of this paper is the design of a touristic development plan for the region Klopeiner See- Südkärnten.
