In dieser Diplomarbeit werden die Chancen und Grenzen eines neuen Konzepts von
Interaktiven Lernvideos für den DaF-Unterricht mittels einer explorativen
Untersuchung ermittelt. Dafür wird zunächst auf den aktuellen Forschungsstand von
Medien und speziell von Videos im DaF-Unterricht eingegangen und das Konzept der
eigens entworfenen Interaktiven Lernvideos vorgestellt. Diese Videos sind für den
Einsatz im Klassenzimmer gedacht, basieren auf der Methodenvielfalt im
handlungsorientierten, interaktiven Unterricht und fördern alle vier Sprachfertigkeiten.
Für die Datenerhebung, welche in einem A1.1-Intensivkurs durchgeführt wurde,
wurden im Rahmen der Aktionsforschung als Forschungsinstrumente die
teilnehmende Beobachtung, das Forschungs- und Lehrerinnentagebuch, das
fokussierte Leitfadeninterview und der Feedbackbogen herangezogen. Schließlich
wurden die Daten mittels der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Kuckartz ausgewertet
und das Potenzial dieser Videos aufgezeigt sowie auf Optimierungsmöglichkeiten
hingewiesen.

In this diploma thesis, exploratory research is employed to investigate the possibilities
and limitations of a new concept of interactive learning videos in classes of German as
a foreign language. To this end, first the current state of the art in the field of media
and of videos in classes of German as a foreign language is described, before
presenting the specifically designed concept of interactive learning videos. These
videos are meant for the use in the classroom, are based on the diversity of methods
in activity-oriented and interactive lessons and develop all four language skills. For the
data collection, which was carried out in an A1.1 intensive course, the research tools
participatory observation, researcher’s and teacher’s diary, focussed semi-structured
interview and feedback sheet are used within the framework of action research. Finally,
the collected data is analysed according to the qualitative content analysis by Kuckartz,
and the potential of these videos as well as room for improvement are pointed out.
