Abstract (eng)
This diploma thesis deals with the economic crises in Spain. The causes of the crises, -classified in local, european and global -structural issues - will be analysed, since they have essentially influenced the dimension of the crises. Based on that, economic indicators illustrate the extend of the economic crises. The main focus of this thesis will be on the realised economic measures by the Spanish governments during the period of 2009 to 2017 as well as its evaluation through economic indicators. Furthermore this thesis will raise the question concerning expansionary and restrictive fiscal policy measures and how they were implemented including their consequences. A brief comparison with the politics of Portugal during the crises will also be presented.
