Abstract (eng)
The interdisciplinary nature of ontoterminology often leads to conceptual confusion. In this thesis, ontoterminology is defined by comparison with terminology work, ontologies from computer science and philosophy, and other semantic forms of representation. Differences and similarities of different disciplines on a theoretical and practical level are pointed out. The practical application of ontoterminology is examined to further illustrate the demarcation between ontoterminology and related fields. This thesis investigates the origins and application of ontoterminology. It deals with the current status and development of ontologies in terminology work. In addition, the interdisciplinarity of the concept of "ontology" is presented in order to create an understanding of its basics and different influences. The clear separation of ontoterminology from other forms of representation facilitates the application of ontoterminology working methods for terminologists and experts and promotes understanding of the basics of ontology.
