In dieser Arbeit wird die Kommunikation an Stammtischen in den Gaststätten im fünften Wiener Gemeindebezirk Margareten analysiert. Ziel der Untersuchung ist einerseits die Stammtische als Gruppen zu beschreiben, vor allem auf die Struktur der Kommunikation fokussiert. Andererseits werden die Themen, die in Stammtischgesprächen vorkommen strukturiert erfasst, sowie die Möglichkeiten der Weiterbehandlung von lokalpolitischen Themen außerhalb des Stammlokales detailliert analysiert.
Um dies zu erreichen, wurden teilstandardisierte Leitfadeninterviews in vier Lokalitäten mit insgesamt 16 Stammgästen, sowie weitere vier Leitfadeninterviews mit den LokalbesitzerInnen durchgeführt. Außerdem wurde die Bezirksvorsteherin ebenso im Rahmen dieser Arbeit als Expertin befragt.
Die Ergebnisse stellen die Struktur der Stammtische, die Gründe des Zugehörigkeitsgefühls, die Kommunikationsstruktur sowie die Struktur der am Stammtisch behandelten Themen dar. Außerdem werden die Themen und Methoden der Weiterbehandlung von lokalpolitischen Themen erläutert.

Aim of this study is the analysis of regulars’ tables in the pubs of the fifth district of Vienna, Margareten. This includes on one hand the description and characterization of the regulars’ tables as groups, primarily focusing on the structure of the communication. Furthermore, the analysis of the subjects of the discussions at the regulars’ tables, as well as the structuring of said topics is performed. Moreover, the means of the communication regarding topics with relevance to political issues on a local level beyond the reach of regulars’ table is analyzed in detail.
In doing so, 16 guided interviews with regulars in four pubs were performed, as well as interviews with the respective owners. Furthermore, an expert-interview with the chairman of the district council was also performed regarding the political topics with local relevance.
The results present the structure of the locals’ tables, the reasons of affiliation, the structure of communication as well as the structure of discussed topics and the ways of communication regarding topics with relevance regarding politics on a local level beyond the scope of the local’s table.
