Abstract (eng)
This thesis seeks to answer the research question of how constructions of identity are represented in the narrative of flight and subsequently in contemporary literature. In order to this, it analyses three German-language novels from three angles: origin, language and gender, and the figures of thought of Hannah Arendt and Giorgio Agamben. The text analyses show that the applied theory can be transferred to the corpus and therefore, the categories, as well as the characteristics of the figures, are central to the construction of identity in the novels. The subsequent comparison illustrates that the literary characters have commonalities and thus the identities of the individuals are constructed very similarly in the literary works.
