In aller Kürze kann man sagen, dass diese Masterarbeit vor allem drei zentrale Aspekte, bzw. Fragen behandelt. (1) Die Arbeit versucht zu erörtern, was genau gemeint ist, wenn man von den Ansätzen Science und Humanismus, speziell in der Disziplin Anthropologie, spricht. (2) Die Arbeit strebt danach herauszufinden in welchem Ausmaß die zwei Ansätze Science und Humanismus fähig sind solide Erklärungen von sozio-kulturellen Phänomenen, von der sozio-kulturellen Welt um uns herum zu geben. (3) Die Arbeit strebt danach zu Erklären, warum die beiden Ansätze Science und Humanismus eine unterschiedliche Popularität in der Anthropology und darüber hinaus erfahren haben.

Described in a nutshell, we may say that this master thesis especially treats the following central aspects, respectively questions. (1) The thesis seeks to explain what exactly is meant when one talks about the approaches of science and humanism in especially the discipline of anthropology. (2) The thesis aspires to find out to what extent the two approaches of science and humanism are able to give solid explanations of socio-cultural phenomena, of the socio-cultural world around us. (3) The thesis strives after an explanation why the two approaches of science and humanism have received different popularity in anthropology (and beyond).
