Abstract (eng)
This thesis focuses on the point, that certain contexts limit the agency of individuals. The focus group was for that very reason one that has a very polarizing position on the autrian job market: Women with non-European citizenships that have a STEM-based education. Since currently the Austrian job market is lacking in technically skilled workers, especially females, and the general population is getting progressively older, this group should have enormous power and value. Therefore, the focal point was the self-perception of agency which was explored through problem-centered interviews. The result of the extensive analysis showcases, that even though there is such a need for women and migrants on the job market it is mostly these factors that limit them the most.
