Seine zahlreichen Arbeiten haben für die frühen geowissenschaftlichen Kenntnisse über Böhmen eine hohe Bedeutung.

August Emanuel von Reuss, Rudolf (born July 8, 1811 in Bilin, Bohemia, † November 26, 1873 in Vienna) was an Austrian physician, geologist and palaeontologist.
His many works are of great importance for the early geoscientific knowledge of Bohemia.
