Die vorliegende Masterarbeit untersucht, mithilfe einer Sekundäranalyse leitfadengestützter Interviews, die Aneignung neuer Emanzipationsformen in der Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung. Die bereits vorhandenen Interviewdaten werden bezüglich der Dimensionen der Emanzipation erneut untersucht und hinsichtlich der Fragestellung Wie äußern sich neue Formen der Emanzipation in der Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung? bearbeitet. Der Wandel der Klimabewegung zu einer Bewegung, die insbesondere die Gerechtigkeitsaspekte in den Fokus nimmt und dabei Klimagerechtigkeit als stetige Konstante sieht, hat ebenso neue Formen der Emanzipation angenommen. In der emanzipatorischen Praxis sind demnach die Doppelrollen der Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung besonders deutlich geworden. Das Spannungsverhältnis zwischen der Rolle als Verursachende*r und Betroffene*r ist in der Konzeption der Emanzipation zentral. Dort wo in anderen sozialen Bewegungen Emanzipation als Ausbruch aus Unterdrückung und Ausbeutung verstanden wird, zeigt sich in der Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung die Unterdrückung und Ausbeutung bei den Aktivist*innen selbst, die auf globaler Perspektive die Folgen des Klimawandels externalisieren. In der Konsequenz zeigt die Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung eine Anpassung der Formen der Emanzipation, die in dem Verständnis der Bewegung beitragen.

This master's thesis investigates the appropriation of new forms of emancipation in the climate justice movement with the help of a secondary analysis of guided interviews. The already existing interview data was re-examined with regard to the dimensions of emancipation and processed with regard to the question "How are new forms of emancipation expressed in the climate justice movement?". The transformation of the climate movement into a movement that focuses in particular on justice aspects and sees climate justice as a constant has also taken on new forms of emancipation. In emancipatory practice, the dual roles of the climate justice movement have thus become particularly clear. The tension between the roles of the causing and the affected is central to the concept of emancipation. Whereas in other social movements emancipation is understood as breaking out of oppression and exploitation, in the climate justice movement the oppression and exploitation is seen in the activists themselves, who externalize the consequences of climate change from a global perspective. As a consequence, the climate justice movement shows an adaptation of the forms of emancipation that contributes to the understanding of the movement.
