Abstract (eng)
In order to have a healthy lifestyle and be an active participant in society, it is necessary to make decisions which are nutritionally and consumption-related. Especially for decisions in relation to the multidisciplinary learning field Nutrition, competence of judgement, based on extensive knowledge is a condition. It is essential, that this knowledge-based judgement competence has to be developed and enhanced first. Therefore, development of knowledge-based competence of judgement ought to be encouraged in adolescence with suitable teaching materials. One of the two main aims of the present Master’s thesis is to specify the term of judgement competence with the help of several competence models and didactical framework concepts within the nutrition literacy. The second aim is the development of teaching materials in order to support knowledge-based judgement competence. To achieve these goals, the “designed based research”-method (Fraefel, 2014) has been used: The adaption of the term of knowledge-based judgement competence is based on systematic literature review of different terms of competence and models. Based on this, the development of the didactic-methodical concept “Urteilsscheibe” arose by the exemplary topic alcohol, which was reviewed and analysed by a teaching practitioner. The findings of this interview reveal, that the “Urteilsscheibe” seems convenient for the purpose of supporting knowledge-based judgment competence for adolescents in Highschool. The feedback given leaves room for re-designing and testing the “Urteilsscheibe” in a classroom setting, which could be implemented in future research work.
