Description (eng)
Data citation plays a crucial role in Open Science, especially in diverse domains like cultural heritage. With its inherently interdisciplinary nature, establishing a robust methodology for data citation becomes essential. This methodology not only aids in identification and attribution but also fosters integration across disciplines.
The ongoing project “A FAIR-enabling citation model for Cultural Heritage Objects”, funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program, aims to design a sustainable and FAIR-enabled citation model for cultural heritage objects (CHO), emphasizing the multidimensional nature of citation within this context.
Supported by EOSC Future and the Research Data Alliance, this project engages in a series of activities to develop and assess its citation model, leveraging specific case studies.
