During 2022, the Serbian Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment, along with the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia, initiated the development of a new system for aggregating, presenting, and evaluating research results in Serbia, known as eScience (https://enauka.gov.rs/). The portal encompasses administrative data on research institutions such as faculties and institutes, as well as information on researchers' profiles and publications. Bibliographic data of published results are not directly inputted into the portal but are instead harvested from other systems, including compatible electronic catalogues and institutional repositories. The PHAIDRA repository has been identified as a suitable infrastructure for this task, prompting the University Library "Svetozar Marković" in Belgrade to undertake intensive efforts in mobilizing this resource. These efforts include establishing the new PHAIDRA system, providing educational activities for PHAIDRA users, introducing new library services, and making adjustments to the PHAIDRA system to meet the requirements of eScience. After more than a year, PHAIDRA has become a recognizable and highly useful tool for a significant number of research organizations.
