Title (eng)
Greylag goose neophobia in human-present and human-absent novel object tests
Description (eng)
Neophobia response (latency from 2 m to 1 m of a novel object) of greylag geese (Anser anser) during two types of novel object test: humans-present and humans-absent. The data were collected during 2023 at the Konrad Lorenz Research Center and Cumberland Wildpark on a free-flying, human habituated flock of greylag geese. Data are divided into three sheets: 1) Human-absent assay, 2) human-present assay and 3) mean control and delta latency from both assays, and mean flight initiation distance (boldness) of each study goose.
