These are the notes for a lecture Professor Kurt Schubert gave on 10 March 1995 for the Akademiker Verband Wien, KAVW, (Catholic Academic Association Vienna) on 10 March 1995. The author discusses historical perception in Judaism, by examining texts from the Tora and Rabbinic texts. Zionism is also addressed in this context.
