Teil 22. Reinhold Bertlmann (Universität Wien): Magic Moments of a Physicist
Reinhold Bertlmann gives a recollection of his activities as a physicist. Beginning with his thesis and postdoc work on electromagnetic and weak interactions he reports on his stays at JINR Dubna, CERN and the University of Marseilles. In particular, he talks about his collaboration with John Bell. Summarizing his work on QCD and anomalies in quantum field theory he describes his turn to quantum mechanics in the recent years, where he could show the significance of entanglement and decoherence in the "strange" and "beauty" quantum systems of particle physics.
