Die Sammlung umfasst Aufnahmen und Unterrichtsdias aus dem Archiv der Universitätssternwarte. Sie enthält insgesamt 312 Bilddokumente, die verschiedene Aspekte der Sonnenbeobachtung veranschaulichen. Dazu zählen unter anderem Aufnahmen von Sonnenspektren, Sonnenflecken sowie Strukturen der Sonnenoberfläche.

The collection includes recordings and teaching slides from the archive of the University Observatory. It contains a total of 312 image documents that illustrate various aspects of solar observation. This includes, among other things, recordings of solar spectra, sunspots, and structures of the solar surface.
