Teil 7: Vortrag von Dagmar Bruß: "Designing Bell Inequalities via Tsirelson Bounds"
Dagmar Bruß ist Professorin für Theoretische Physik an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf.
Abstract: This talk introduces an analytical method to find an upper bound on the quantum value of a Bell-type inequality, i.e. a generalised Tsirelson bound. A criterion for tightness of this bound is derived, and it is explain how this method helps to design new Bell inequalities. Certain modifications of the correlation coefficients are shown to leave the Tsirelson bound invariant, while changing the classical bound. This allows to optimise Bell inequalities with respect to the amount of their possible violation.
