Die vorliegende Arbeit möchte den bestehenden psychoanalytischen Wissensstand zur Entstehung der Symptome Enuresis und Enkopresis aufarbeiten und im Folgenden mit pädagogischen Überlegungen in Zusammenhang bringen. Es wurde anhand von unterschiedlichen Publikationsorganen der Versuch unternommen, psychoanalytische Erklärungsmodelle zu den Symptomen der Enuresis und Enkopresis herauszuarbeiten, sowie zentrale Faktoren zu identifizieren, die aus Sicht verschiedener psychoanalytisch-pädagogisch orientierter Autoren als grundlegend für die Entstehung von Enuresis und Enkopresis beschrieben werden. Darüber hinaus wurde erörtert, welche pädagogischen Konsequenzen von den Erklärungsmodellen für das Gestalten pädagogischer Praxis abgeleitet werden können.

The present thesis aims to review the existing psychoanalytic knowledge about the symptoms of enuresis and encopresis and additionally put in context with educational considerations. On the basis of different publications it was attempted to elaborate psychoanalytic explanations of the symptoms of enuresis and encopresis as well as to identify central factors which are described as fundamental to the development of enuresis and encopresis from a psychoanalytic perspective. Furthermore the consequences of those explanatory models to the educational practice are discussed.
