Dieses dialytische Fernrohr wurde um 1850 gebaut. Es ist ein achromatisches Fernrohr und besitzt Linsen aus verschiedenen Glassorten um für zwei Wellenlängen des sichtbaren Lichts denselben Brennpunkt zu erzeugen. Das Instrument befindet sich im Museum der Universitätssternwarte Wien. Technische Details: Messing, Länge Tubus 1,10 m, Objektiv Durchmesser 7,5 cm mit Schutzkappe, keine Linsen vorhanden, Schärfeeinstellung mit Zahnstange, azimutale Montierung mit seitlich abgewinkeltem Gegengewicht, zwei Handhaben für Azimut und Höheneinstellung mit Holzgriffen massives Tischdreibeinstativ, Höhe 80 cm alte Inv.-Nr. 825-132, H 31

This dialytic telescope was built about 1850. Such a telescope uses lenses of different sorts of glas. The focal length of two optical wavelengths is thereby the same. The instrument is located at the museum of the Vienna University Observatory.
