Description (eng)
Currently, the management of research data is often fragmented and inefficient. More effectively linking Scientific Knowledge Graphs (SKGs) with machine-readable Data Management Plans (DMPs) and FAIR metrics can help ensure data quality and reusability. Libraries can also play an important role in this process.
The EU-funded Open Science Trails (OSTrails) project collaborates with 40 partners and 23 national and thematic pilots to (i) develop DMPs into dynamic, machine-readable resources, (ii) link scientific outputs through knowledge graphs, and (iii) evaluate the FAIRness of data. The 15 national and 8 thematic pilots ensure that the solutions are robust, practical, and aligned with the needs of the research community.
